Copper Bulldog Pipe Holder Striker Lighter, Circa 1937

This rare, striker table lighter, in the shape of a running French Bulldog, is also a pipe holder. It was created in 1937, by the Ronson Company, and it is featured in “Ronson The World’s Greatest Lighter” by Urban Cummings, and listed as lighter # 146 in the book.

It is 4″ tall x 4 1/4″ long x 2 1/4″ wide, and it is in Very good condition. It is highly detailed, right down to the dog’s elaborately studded collar. It is done in a beautiful copper finish which can be polished to its original condition.
