Vintage Design
Old edition of the B17b wall unit in French Elm by Pierre Chapo, France 60′. Presented at the Salon des Arts Ménagers in 1967, this bookcase breaks the rules by placing the supports above the shelves. The choice of Elm (the European elm disappeared at the end of the twentieth century following a disease, Graphiosis), the quality of the assemblies and the exceptional design give this “B17b” version of 226 cm in length a unique presence. Very nice original condition.
