Double Bed in Teak and Cane by Hans J. Wegner for Getama, 1960s

This Hans J. Wegner double bed, crafted in the 1960s for Getama, exemplifies mid-century modern elegance. The double bed is made out of two separate teak frames, which can be joined together to form a cohesive sleeping surface. The beds feature floating night tables seamlessly integrated into the frame, enhancing its modern aesthetic and maximizing floor space. Each night table is equipped with a single drawer for convenient storage and is complemented by a sleek black glass shelf.

Both parts of the double bed are in great original vintage condition. The wooden frame has been cleaned and refreshed with professional compounds to enhance the beauty of the wood, making it a perfect example of comfort and practicality without compromising on style. The bed does not come with a mattress. The recommended mattress dimensions are 90 cm by 190 cm, with a height not less than 15 cm for proper comfort.
