From a 1782 edition of Dru Drury’s Illustrations of Natural History, this antique hand painted watercolor copper engraving of exotic moths is ready to be framed and hung on a wall as art decor.
The antique entomology art print is in a hand-decorated cream-color matting and has its original identification label on the back from Gladstone & Elwyn-Jones. The antique print was in the collection of naturalist Edward Greaves who made a notation on the sheet in pencil identifying the illustrated moth species.
In my collection since the early 1990s, the print is still sealed in its archival wrapper.
