Vintage Design
Large antique drapery fabric table from a monastery in Mons, Belgium, late 19th century. This was used for cutting fabric and the like. The top previously had a layer of red linoleum on it, which they probably made in the 1950s. This beautiful pitch pine table top emerged from under the linoleum. The base is painted wood. We cleaned this table, restored it where necessary, sanded the pitch pine table top, and applied a layer of wax to the entire table. The legroom between the floor and the bottom edge of the table has a height of 61 cm on the side with the drawers and a height of 64 cm on the other side of the table. A beautiful unique specimen that can be used as a dining table, work table or large desk.
