Sitting on a piedouche, its large body showcases five exquisite scenes with several Chinese characters, each telling a different story with a gorgeous level of detail. They are surrounded by elegant clusters of trees, foliage, and rivers, alongside ornate scrolls and flowers in the Delft taste. Two stunning twisted handles frame this jar, decorated with gorgeous speckles in blue and white and adding an exceptional sculptural quality to it. Complete with the lid and in excellent condition, it is signed AR underneath. This large jar is a true statement piece and rare piece of Dutch Delftware.
