Mid-Century Modern Desk by Torbjorn Afdal for Bruksbo, Norway, 1960s

This gorgeus midcentury desk was made in Norway around 1960s. It was produced by Bruksbo manufactory and still has the original label. Pure in form yet very impressive. The desk features two sections with three drawers each with beautifully sculpted handles. The desk is set on four slender legs that give it extra lightness. The wood is well conditioned and presents gorgeous wood patterns. There is plenty of desktop space for paperwork and good organization. The desk was gently renovated and is in great condition. The surface was cleaned and refinished with oil which not only protects the wood but also provides natural and warm finishing touch.
