Vintage Design
Signs of wear. Our 2-seater Bastiano sofa was used a lot. The cushions in the seat and the light blue covers no longer appear to be original. The beautiful structure of the wooden frame made us curious. Under the satin black surface is a heavily grained, very reddish tropical wood, similar to rosewood, which has been heavily veneered and can actually be exposed again. The straight surfaces of the wooden construction are screwed together, the spiral springs in the seat padding are completely intact. Only the covers show stronger signs of wear such as stains, some wax, fading and wear and tear in the area of the armrests.
Blockboard with reddish tropical wood, heavily veneered and painted black with a satin finish, without primer, upholstery springs in the seat, loose cushions with foam in the seat, back upholstery foam and mesh down
