Vintage Design
Brutalist sideboard in black stained oak and brushed steel. This sideboard has a really impressive look due to the sleek finish of the glossy wood and steel strip of brushed steel. The genre to which this sideboard belongs is brutalism and in particular the Belgian interpretation of that movement has become something that we can no longer ignore today.A powerful combination of a substantially large cabinet with a minimalist design language and a pattern of a geometric nature is what absolutely predominates here. It is precisely this combination that makes it a timeless design that can adapt to a multitude of different interiors.Four robust doors stand out because 4 pieces of veneer have been used per door. The so-called upper and lower part is placed horizontally and the side parts are vertical. In the middle of each door we find a recessed round handle with a milled margin on the inside and outside. The doors remain closed by means of magnetic closing strips. The leftmost storage space is divided with a shelf and four off-white drawers with a green bottom. The right part of the cabinet is divided into two by a shelf. A brushed steel strip decorates the area below the doors to the ground. The condition of this brutalist sideboard is good with only minimal traces of use.”
