Dressing Table and Chair, 1950s, Set of 2

Set of two cherry furniture, consisting, in the first place, a small dressing table with rognon shape, in the taste of Egypt. Its over, with frame and wire veneer in the center, opens onto a compartmentalized interior garnished with removable fabric. This hairdresser also offers a mirror at the perimeter underlined by a large molding, and lines marrying those of the flap. It will be added that, in order to preserve the intimacy of this space, it is equipped with an original lock in operation and accompanied by its key. In belt, this furniture offers two small drawers with brass lentil buttons, in which we will end up funds identical to those described above. This all-sided hairdresser consists of four uprights in solid cherry, carved in elegant swans clogs and finished in claws. They are based on a spacer with a widely cut edges, itself installed on four feet balls.
It will be associated with this furniture a beautiful fireside chair, with a massive cherry structure. Its folder, ideally curved, as well as its seat, a square, are covered with a yellow champagne fabric with foliated patterned, common to that used for the dressing table. We will also find on the amounts the graceful white palmipes. This seat is based on four feet somed swords, for those of the front, dice of flower decoration.
We will be charmed by this perfectly matching together, both in the mind and in dimensions. Modest, the latter will also allow this hairdresser and its heater to be adopted by a young child, a teenager, or a woman in the flower of the age, which will all have for common point the pleasure of S ‘ Grant a moment for oneself in a cocooning environment.
