The De Sede DS-600 ‘Snake’ Sectional Sofa is a mid-century modern sofa made in Switzerland from high-quality brown leather. It was designed by Ueli Berger, Elenora Peduzzi-Riva, Heinz Ulrich, and Klaus Vogt for De Sede in 1972. The sofa consists of 16 seating pieces and two end/arm sections, making a total of 18 articles that can be connected with zippers to create endless configurations. The sofa’s unique, free-flowing concept allows for unconventional furniture arrangements. The seating is upholstered in brown leather, and the outer frame is made of brown felt, giving it an elegant look. The high-quality leather is in excellent original condition with minor traces of use and a unique original patina, making it an almost perfect vintage piece.
