Vintage Design
George Mulhauser was an American furniture designer who designed various legendary furniture for Plycraft Baker Furniture, Knoll and Selig. with his work, Mulhauser made a central part of American mid-century design.
The Mr.Chair was Mulhauser’s answer to the Eames Lounge Chair. However, Plycraft only produced the Mr.Chair for a few years. That’s why this piece of furniture is now a real rarity and can hardly be found, especially in Europe.
Very good condition. Some damage to the veneer was repaired with wax. Covered with Naugahyde vinyl. The rotating mechanism is a bit stiff.
